Enrolment

Goldfields School provides an educational learning environment for students that have been ORS funded.

The Ongoing Resourcing Scheme (ORS) provides support for students with the highest level of need for special education, to join in and learn alongside other students at school.

On enrolment a Section 37 form will need to be completed. This is an agreement between the Ministry of Education and parents that allows a student to be enrolled in a special school. The name ‘section 37’ refers to a part of the Education Act 1989 that deals with special education (learning support) services.
