Specialist Teacher Outreach Service (STOS)

This provides support to students who are funded through the Ongoing Resourcing Scheme (ORS) and enrolled in their local school.

What this means is that students who have been assessed as having special educational needs and also meet the ORS criteria, carry with them throughout their school life, additional funding and staffing entitlement. These are there to ensure that any school which the child attends is able to provide or contract specialist teaching, therapeutic support and teacher aide support specifically for that child.  For more information click here.
